The individual components of the snow barrier are made of hot-dip galvanized steel belt 25 x 5 mm in natural galvanized steel or sprayed in seven shades (same as the gutter system). Consultation with a structural engineer or a plumber is required when solving and designing the correct use of the snow pipe barrier. The pipe of the snow barrier is made of aluminium, its diameter is 32 mm and it is also available in natural aluminium or in seven colour shades.

The barrier is installed with the help of farm screws, which are drilled into the roofing so that they are as perpendicular as possible and the seal must adhere to the roofing over the entire surface. The snow barrier does not lie on the roofing, but on a rubber EPDM pad. The barrier is placed under the transverse overlap in the valley of the wave of the profiled coverings and at the trapezoids in the bottom wave. It is recommended to use a 35 x 100 mm board instead of a roof batten at the anchorage points. After anchoring the barrier, the aluminium pipe is slid in and secured against movement with a 4.8 x 35 mm screw.

We place a snow puncher in each free wave between the holders of the snow barrier pipe. The snow puncher slides onto the bottom pipe (in case of a two-pipe version) and is screwed through the roofing into a roof batten or board prepared in advance. In case the roof battens are not prepared in advance under the roofing, we recommend using a strut that is installed on the bottom pipe and screwed under the overlap into the roof batten. At a width of 1.0 m, it is necessary to place at least 2 pieces of holders of snow barrier pipes. For roofing lengths over 2.5 m, it is necessary to place another row of snow barriers. If there is a roof window or an roof hatch, we recommend installing a two-pipe snow barrier above this window.

The assembly of the clamps itself is very simple and fast: the clamp is fastened to the standing fold about 10 mm from the bottom sheet with locking screws. The locking screws are made of stainless steel and cannot be loosened again when fully tightened. This design ensures that the clamp does not come loose and slide on the fold. When anchoring the clamps to the vertical groove, the lower aluminium pipe is pushed in and secured against movement by clamping the clamps by mutual shift. For this purpose, the clamp holes are enlarged. In case of shifting, it is also possible to secure the lower pipe with a stop against the pipe moving. It is attached from the side to the clamps and the pipe is secured against movement with 4 circlips per 6 m pipe.
